A fatal car accident can happen at any time, regardless of location, number of people involved, or how fast the vehicles are moving. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 79-year-old woman killed three people and injured four individuals in an accident at the Sugar Creek Country Club. As a result, the woman was given a noncriminal infraction related to the improper backing up of her vehicle.

Reports state that residents of Sugar Creek Country Club, a mobile home community south of Tampa, came together for church at one of the buildings in the community.

The accident report notes that while the woman was backing her Chevrolet Tahoe out of a parking spot she hit seven people. As a result, three of the people were killed and four were injured.

At this time, there is no information as to why she was unable to stop her vehicle before hitting the people.

This fatal accident could have been avoided if the driver of the vehicle would have been paying more attention. Due to the fact that she was backing out of a parking spot, the speed of the vehicle should not have been high.

The mistake of one driver led to a serious situation at a mobile home community, leaving three people dead while changing the life of four others forever.

Anybody who has been injured in an accident or has had a loved one killed due to the negligence of another, can consult with a personal injury attorney to learn more about their rights and whether or not they can receive compensation.
